Joe Perry Mason, 72, of Mill Spring passed away January 3, 2022.
He was the son of the late Steady Burwell and Minnie Marie Bumgardner Mason and husband of Lynece Wade Mason.
He was self-employed salesman working in textiles.
He is survived by sons Brian Phillips and wife Katie and Chris Phillips; a brother James Mason; and three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother Bobby Mason.
Memorials may be made to Foothills Humane Society, 989 Little Mountain Rd, Columbus, NC 28722.
A celebration of life was held at Petty Funeral Home on January 29, 2022.
