John Henry McMahan, 93, of Spindale, passed away June 3, 2022.
A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Alfred T. and Annie Bessie Sain McMahan. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, and a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He also worked for the US Fish and Wildlife service and managed US government buildings for twenty years before retiring with 30 years of government service. He was a member of Spindale United Methodist Church.
He is survived by daughter, Sharon McMahan Campbell; one granddaughter; three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Thomas McMahan.
