John Jones, age 62

John Jones, age 62, of Forest City passed away September 7, 2021.

John was born October 11, 1958 in Fort Meyers, Florida. In his early years, he did sawmill work and then later he worked for Cone Mill and Broyhill Industries.

He was preceded in death by parents, Jesse Reid Jones and Joy Bell Sherman Jones; brothers, Bobby Jones and Wayne Jones and his sister, Mary.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 36 years, Jeanett Jones; sons, Jeremy Davis (Trina) and Jeffery Davis all of Forest City; siblings, Warren Shultz, Jr., Barbara Greene, Billy Shultz, Jud Jones, Christine Yount, Helen Elenbora and Elen Elenbora.

The funeral was held September 13, 2021 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chad Sisk officiating. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
