Johnny Smith, age 70

Johnny Smith, age 70, of Forest City, passed away October 29, 2021.

Johnny was born September 7, 1951 in Rutherford County to the late John Smith and Alice Hooper Smith. He was graduate of East Rutherford High School. Johnny owned and operated a dry wall business.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robbie and Jimmy Smith and sisters, Jennie Marlowe, Judy Byers and Janice Skidmore.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Crystal Smith (Tommy) of Forest City; son, Duane Smith (Amy) of Boiling Springs, SC; brother, Jackie Smith (Dorothy) of Bostic; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held November 5, 2021 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
