Jolaine W. Greene, age 82

Jolaine W. Greene, age 82, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Born March 20, 1935 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Ed Allen and Carrie Lee Morgan Allen. Jolaine was a graduate of Harris High School. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She loved her family and also her church family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Johnny Greene; one son, John Thomas Greene and two brothers, Royal Allen and Carl Allen; three sisters, Maude Harmon, Loree Sisk and Jean Allen.

Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Cathy Faye Cash and husband, Ronsal of Rutherfordton; one grandson; one brother, J.C. Allen of Forest City and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was conducted at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Moneyham officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
