Joseph "Jody" Parker, 73 of Ruth passed away on August 22, 2020.
Jody was the son of the late Robert Samuel Parker and Mary Irene Bradley Parker. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Martha Greene, Virginia Doty, Lee Parker, Hattie Greene and Samuel Ray Parker.
Left to cherish Jody's memory are his brothers and sisters, Raymond Parker, Charles Parker, Jessie Mae Smith, Mary Helen Conner and Cathy Waters. Also, Jody leaves behind many nieces and nephews and a special niece, who was a caretaker for Jody.
A private funeral service was held at Crowe's Chapel and burial took place at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bostic.
