Joy Lee Dimsdale Owens, 62, of Forest City passed away on January 3, 2021.
Joy was the daughter of the late Jvonne Dimsdale and a native of Rutherford County.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ricky Owens, her mother Alice Mae Dixon Pearson, a son, Jason Philbeck (Paige), and a daughter, Jessica Brooks (Rob). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren.
Joy also leaves behind a brother, Avery Dimsdale, a sister, Teresa Dorsey and an aunt Miriam Dixon.
A private memorial service is scheduled.
