Joyce Edwards Hutchins, age 86, of Forest City

Joyce Edwards Hutchins, age 86, of Forest City, passed away April 7, 2025.

Joyce was born January 21, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late Dewey Doc Edwards and Annie Sue Trout Edwards. She was a graduate of Harris High School and worked for Stonecutter Mill for 38 years. Joyce was a longtime member of Goodes Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Clyde James Hutchins; brothers, Clark Edwards, Bobby Edwards and sister, Shirley Holland.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Edward Allen Hutchins and wife, Lisa of Forest City and a sister, Mary Wall of Star, SC.

The funeral was held April 11 at Goodes Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Hubert Street and Rev. Dale Welch officiating.
