Judy Faye Cogdell, 65

Judy Faye Cogdell, 65, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015.

Born December 29, 1949 in Cherokee County, SC, she was a daughter to the late Oscar Lee Cogdell & Nancy Hoyle Cogdell. Judy worked in various industries for many years, which included home health care & was a member of Chimney Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 9 brothers.

Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry Cogdell of Forest City & Doug Cogdell & wife, Heather of Lexington, SC; 4 brothers, Clete Cogdell & wife, Tracy of Rutherfordton, Jr. Cogdell of Shelby, Wade Owens of Lincolnton & William Lee Cogdell of Kings Mountain. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Emily, Karly & Jordyn Cogdell; 3 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Carmen & Kaydence Tessineer.

A memorial service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
