Judy Millwood O'Dell, age 62

Judy Millwood O'Dell, age 62 of Forest City passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

Judy was born May 26, 1957 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Clarence James Millwood and Myrtle Willis Millwood.

Judy received her Associates Degree in Business from Isothermal Community College. After receiving her degree, she went to work for Isothermal Community College where she currently was working in the Business Office. She was also a member of New Testament Assembly Church in Spindale. Judy was an avid reader and enjoyed reading and volunteer work.

She was also preceded by her adoptive parents whom she loved, the late Howard and Gertrude Emory.

Survivors include her husband, Joe G. O'Dell, a son, Jay O'Dell and his wife, Marianna of Shelby, a daughter, Jennifer O'Dell Wilson and husband Mitchelle of Pickens, SC, her brothers, Steve Millwood and wife Teresa of Statesville, and Gene Millwood and wife Denise of Forest City. There are also four grandchildren.

The memorial service was held in The Padgett and King Chapel. Memorials may be made in her memory to Donate For Life of North Carolina, PO Box 5536, Cary, NC 27512.
