Judy Turner, age 76

Judy Turner, age 76, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Judy was born, September 5, 1947 in Pinellas County, FL to the late Harley A. Touchton and Kathleen Young Touchton. She was the owner and operator of J & J Cartage Trucking Company for 35 years and worked in home health care for Universal Home Health for a decade. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spindale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Fred Turner; son, Tony Lutes; brothers, Buddy Touchton, Herman Touchton, Lester Touchton, Henry Touchton; sisters, Mary Langford, Martha Applewhite and Alice O'Quinn.

Those left to treasure her memory include her brother, Calvin Touchton of Greenville, FL; several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Marilyn Rhom of Spindale and Pat Wagner (Dennis) of FL and a brother-in-law, Harry Turner (Yoke) of IL.

The funeral service was held September 11 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Vance Touchton officiating.
