June Womack Sims, age 67

June Womack Sims, age 67 of Forest City, died September 13, 2021.
She was born on June 15, 1954, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Cole Womack.
June was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, and she received an Associates Degree from Isothermal Community College. She was a member of Florence Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Womack Summey.
Survivors include husband, David "Andy" Sims, brother, Carl Daniel Womack of Rutherfordton and a host of cousins, close friends, and Andy's family.
The funeral service was held September 18, 2021, in The Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Tonya Garrison officiating. Interment followed in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
