Junior Toney, age 81

Junior Toney, age 81, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Junior was born April 12, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late William Gleason Toney, Sr. and Ossie Murray Toney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Dianne Toney, Brenda Toney, Kathy Perry, Louise Smiley and a brother, Billy M. Toney.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Lisa Toney Skipper of Bostic and Cheryl Baynard of Forest City; three sons, Darrell Toney (Loretta) of Forest City, Brian Toney of Harris and Jim Biggerstaff of Mooresboro; sister, Etta L. Toney of Forest City and brother, Jerry D. Toney (Brenda) of Shelby. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be conducted.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
