Kate Edwards, age 71

Kate Edwards, age 71, of Forest City, passed away July 28, 2021.

Kate was born June 27, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Edgar Geer Kenny and Margaret Jean Sauter. She worked for Valley Fine Foods for 13 years before retirement. Kate lived an eventful and colorful life which included attending Woodstock in 1969, being a volunteer for the Peace Corps, having a lifetime membership to the Toastmasters Club International and hiking the Grand Canyon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Kenny.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 20 years, Ralph "Butch" Edwards, Jr.; 3 brothers, James Kenny of Forest City, Bill Kenny of Amherst, New Hampshire, Paul Kenny of Sandwich, Massachusetts and a sister, Laura MacDonald of Hanson, Massachusetts.

A celebration of Kate's life will be held on a later date.
