Kathleen Walker Stacy, age 80

Kathleen Walker Stacy, age 80, of Forest City, passed away December 19, 2021.

Kathleen was born October 1, 2021 in Rutherford County to the late Roscoe Walker and Mamie Smith Walker. She worked for the deli at Winn Dixie for seventeen years and as a cafeteria manager for thirty years at the Rutherford County Public Schools. She was a member of Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Toney.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 62 years, Basil Stacy; sons, Ray Albert Stacy (Teresa) of Forest City, Nelson Ray Stacy of Caroleen and Tracy Eugene Stacy (Patricia) of Cliffside; sisters, Mary Pleasant of Forest City and Maybell Athey of Salisbury, two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held December 22, 2021 at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Cash officiating.
