Kay Keeter Collins, age 77

Kay Keeter Collins, age 77, died Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Kay was born October 6, 1945 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Eugene and Lola Crotts Keeter.

Kay grew up in Spencer Baptist Church and she was a Licensed Practical Nurse having received her LPN diploma from Isothermal Community College. She worked for many years with Hospice of Rutherford County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Collins Mode, grandson, Joshua Gregory Mode and brother, Billy Keeter.

Survivors include her son, Gary Collins of Nebo, daughter, Gena Collins Shelton and husband Ronald of Spindale, one grandson, brother, Larry Keeter and wife Ann of Boone, as well as nieces and nephews.

At her request no formal service will be held.
