Kelly Callahan Guffey, age 52

Kelly Callahan Guffey, age 52, of Ellenboro, passed away March 7, 2022.

Kelly was born January 8, 1970 in Rutherford County to the late Joe Callahan and Geraldine Roach Callahan. She was a graduate of Chase High School and received a Cosmetology Diploma from Isothermal Community College.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Ellenboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Wellborn.

Left to cherish fond memories are her husband of 33 years, Scott Guffey; four children, Bradley, David, Haylee and Jay Guffey all of the home; brother, Joey Callahan (Kathy) of Gilkey; brother-in-law, Mark Flynn of Ellenboro; two nephews, two nieces and several great nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held March 11, 2022 at Victory Baptist Church of Ellenboro with Rev. Johnny McCarty and Rev. Randy Church officiating.

Memorial donations are requested to Victory Baptist Church, 531 Soco Gap Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
