Kenneth Lee Blackwell, 73, of Lake Lure, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late August and Tempie McDaniel Blackwell.
Kenneth was a retired machine operator in the furniture industry and a member of Bills Creek Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Regina Blain Blackwell, daughter, Denise Earley and husband Billy; son, Kenny Blackwell and wife Jennifer; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Devern Upton.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Clinton Blackwell, brothers, Edmond, Mercus, Tommy, and Douglas Blackwell, and sisters, Dorothy Cissel and Marilyn Bradshaw.
Graveside services were held January 23 at Bills Creek Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Arthur Bien officiating.
