Kent Shytles, age 62, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
Kent was born June 1, 1958 in Rutherford County to the late Frank "Chunk" Shytles and Amelia Putman Shytles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Curt Shytles.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Amber Shytles Whitaker (Michael) of Forest City; brother, Kyle Shytles of Forest City; two granddaughters; sister-in-law, Connie Shytles of Ellenboro; one niece and one nephew, both of Forest City and an uncle, B.L. Putman (Peggy) of Norfolk, Virginia.
A graveside service was conducted at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial donations are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
