KinderPALOOZA for hundreds of Rutherford County children

Rutherford County Schools hosted the annual KinderPALOOZA recently where rising kindergarteners and their families had an opportunity to see first hand all the elementary schools have to offer. The event was held at the Foundation at Isothermal Community College where hundreds of pre-kindergarten students arrived with parents, guardians, grandparents and friends.

"KinderPALOOZA was a huge hit! It is a highlight of my year getting to see the excitement on the faces of our future kindergarten students. I want to personally thank everyone who was involved in making it a huge success," said Ritchie Garland, marketing director for the Rutherford County Schools.

Teachers, administrators, other school staff and high schools were all represented as children visited dozens of booths for education activities, games, face painting technology, magic school bus rides, school mascots and much more. Area high schools were also represented.
