Kortney Humphries, age 24

Kortney Humphries, age 24, of Forest City, passed away, Sunday, November 19, 2023.

Kortney was born April 28, 1999 in Rutherford County to April Humphries who resides in Forest City. She was a graduate of the Rutherford Opportunity Center (The Rock). Kortney worked for Blankenship Creations. Kortney was a member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Shane Holland and grandfathers, Horace Humphries and David Holland.

Those left to treasure her memory include her mother, April Humphries; grandmothers, Nancy Humphries and Earleen Splawn; sister, Breanna Holland and brother, Luke Holland all of Forest City; her aunts, Deana Harrill (Kevin) and Shellie Easler; uncle, Kelly McSwain and a number of cousins and extended family members.

The funeral was held November 25 at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Carnell officiating.
