Larry Eugene Towery, 73

Larry Eugene Towery, 73, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025.

He was born to the late Cleavy Eugene Towery and Darcus Davis in Cleveland County, NC. He is also predeceased by a daughter, Wanda Epley; brother, David Towery.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mollie Towery; sons, Edward Epley (Opie), and Joseph Towery; daughters, Maxine Epley, and Ivey Earls; sister, Cindy Oaks; no step-children involved, he said they were all his kids; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

He retired from Glenn Lumber Company of 20+ years.

Private services will be held at a later date.
