Larry Kirk Wilkerson, age 52

Larry Kirk Wilkerson, age 52, of Forest City, passed away August 4, 2021.

His spirit is carried on by his wife Cindy Harris Wilkerson, sons Harrison Wilkerson and Zeke Wilkerson, and daughters Jia Wilkerson, and Lillie Mei Wilkerson, brother, Brad Wilkerson, and sister, Jennifer Wilkerson Blanton.

Kirk was a 1987 graduate of East Rutherford High School and has always been a Cavalier. It was while he was attending the University of North Carolina - Greensboro for his BA in English that he met his wife Cindy, whom he married in 1993. In his words, "She has all of me". After graduating, he was a middle school and high school coach and teacher in Asheboro. In 1995, he and Cindy relocated to his hometown in Forest City, NC where he worked with his parents at Wilkerson Insurance Agency. He founded Covenant Advisory Group in 2000, where he advised many with love and integrity.

A memorial service to celebrate his life was held August 7, 2021 in the Football Stadium at East Rutherford High School with the Rev. Chris Fox, Rev. Sam Henderson and Rev. Rodney Queen officiating.
