Larry Searcy, age 75, of the Bill's Creek Community, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022.
He was the son of the late Clyo and Rachel Searcy, and he was a native of Rutherford County. Larry was a founding member of Bill's Creek Fire Department, and he was a deacon, trustee, and the groundskeeper for Bill's Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son-in-law George Dickert, brother Raymond Searcy, one great-grandson, and one brother-in-law, James Pritchard.
Larry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frankie Flynn Searcy, sons Dwayne Searcy, and wife Lynne, Chesley Searcy and wife Trish, daughter Jackie Dickert Laughridge, and husband Joe, sisters Jane Pritchard, and Vickie Schappert and husband Bill, sister-in-law Jenny Searcy, brother Troy Searcy, and wife Kay, eight grandchildren, one step grandchild, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at Bill's Creek Baptist Church November 20 with Rev. Darold Crawford, and Pastor Toby Flynn officiating.
