Laura Mae Biggerstaff, age 93

Laura Mae Biggerstaff, age 93, of Forest City, passed away September 28, 2021.

Laura was born December 11, 1927 in Cleveland County to the late Fay Theodore Tesseneer and Addie Alberta Horne Tesseneer. After working in textiles for several years, she found her life's passion in providing childcare at her home. She was a member of Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Hugh Biggerstaff; son Ricky Green; sisters, Maude Allison, Doris Champion, Irene Waters and a brother, John Tesseneer.

Those left to cherish her memory include one grandson, one sister-in-law, and a number of special nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held October 2, 2021 at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Cash officiating.
