Laura White Callahan, 79, wife of Samuel Stevens Callahan, passed away January 8, 2022.
Born in Cliffside, NC she was the daughter of the late Shirley G. and Ann T. White and sister to Donald L. White of Greensboro. She was a graduate of Western Carolina University. She was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Taylors, SC.
She was a devoted and loving mother to Sandra E. Callahan and Brian S. Callahan and wife Michelle; and grandmother to three grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Rebecca Scruggs and husband Dean; and a niece and two nephews.
A funeral service was held January 14, 2022 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC with Pastor Maria Miller officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas located at 706 Grove Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
