Lawrence Richard Porter age 80

Lawrence Richard Porter age 80 of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017.

A native of Pepperell, MA he was the son of the late Ralph Whitney and Bessie Helen Wheeler Porter. He was a retired plumber.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Brenda Dodge Porter of the home; daughter Wendy Whitlock of Spindale; son Tim Porter and daughter-in-law Tina of Rutherfordton; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Rollo of Boynton Beach, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday May 6^th, 2:00PM at Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
