Lessie Mae Roberson Whelchel, 68

Lessie Mae Roberson Whelchel, 68, of Bostic, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021.

She was the daughter of the late Tom Ardel Roberson and Fannie Irene Roberson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Whelchel; her brothers Clevie Roberson and Steve Roberson.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Earl Whelchel; her sister Jessie Faye Roberson Pearson of Morganton; she is lovingly remembered as mom by Sherry and Jay Corbett, Kim and Ron Cook, Mark Whelchel, Misty and Ashley Ruppe, and Dusty and Bobbi Whelchel; she was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service was conducted at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church.
