Linden Clark, age 85

Linden Clark, age 85, passed away Sunday September 30, 2012. 

A native of Rutherford County he was a son of the late A.N. and Gertrude Mosley Clark, graduate of RS Central Class of 1945 where he was voted best athlete, retired mechanic having worked in the textile industry, served as Yeoman 2^nd Class in the US Navy during WW II, he was an avid gardener and a member of Southern Baptist Church where he served the Lord as Deacon, RA, Youth and BTU leader as well as serving as Boys 12 Sunday School teacher for 30 years. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Alma Jean Webster Clark of the home and one son Keith Clark and wife Lori of Rutherfordton, NC.  

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Bobby Clark and one sister Juliette Clark Greene.Funeral services were held at Southern Baptist Church with Rev. John Perry and Dr. James Byrd officiating, military honors provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.
