Lois Virginia Hill

On July 7, 2026, Lois Virginia Hill broke the bonds of this earthly home and entered her Heavenly home to be welcomed by her husband Willard, daughter Frieda, father Wilson, mother Bertie, brother Lloyd and sisters Leona, Ruby and Sybil along with a host of friends and loved ones who had gone before. Most of all, she met her Savior, Jesus Christ whom she had served faithfully for 94 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son Arnold Hill and wife Kathy, a daughter Rita Bowen and husband Alan; grandsons Chris and John Hill; granddaughter Michelle Jackson; great grandsons Austin Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Noah Jackson, Seth Jackson, Durham Hill, AJ Hill and Garrett Hill; great-granddaughter Peyton Hill; great-great granddaughter Isabella Jackson; great-great grandsons Grey Jackson, Oliver Jackson and Judah Jackson.

Her life served as a blueprint on how to be an unwavering Christian, a devoted wife, a loving mother and a loyal friend. She loved to sing and would at any opportunity.

A celebration of her life was held July 11 at Piney Knob Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Brown officiating.
