Lowell Bauman Bushong, age 88

Lowell Bauman Bushong, age 88 of Durham, NC, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Lowell was born on November 16, 1932 in Ellenboro, NC and was a son of the late Albert Bauman Bushong and Estelle Brown Kinzer Bushong.

Lowell graduated from Ellenboro High School in 1950 and entered the United States Navy.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Bushong of Durham, a sister, Helen Bushong White of Camden, SC, two nieces. There are also three great-nieces, one great-nephew, and several great-great nieces and nephews.

A Masonic Graveside service was held at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with masonic rites accorded by the Forest City Masonic Lodge No. 381, AF&AM.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors' choice.
