Lucille Burgess Hamlin, 102, passed away on Wednesday April 22, 2020.
Lu was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1917, but was from the South.
She had three children, Merrill, Joe, and Newt, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Her husband, Joe, passed in '07, son Joe in '12.
A memorial service will be held when it's safe for out-of-state family to travel. The church will announce the date.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators, or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
