Lucinda "Cindy" Craven, age 66

Lucinda "Cindy" Craven, age 66, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020.

Lucinda was born March 25, 1954 in Kinston, NC to the late Joseph S. Weedman and Dixie Clark Weedman. She was a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and taught many years at Donna Lee Laughlin Elementary School in Asheboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Craven and a son, Scott Spencer Whitaker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Laura Linder (David) of Forest City; four grandchildren,

A memorial service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
