Luis De Leon, age 57

Luis De Leon, age 57, of Forest City, passed away, Friday, January 13, 2023.

Luis was born December 14, 1965 in San Pablo, Guatemala to Gregoria Solis De Leon of Guatemala and the late Fausto Francisco De Leon. He was a carpenter and worked in textiles. Most recently worked for Parton Lumber Company.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish fond memories are his son, Elmer Lopez and daughter, Glennys Mendez; sisters, Flor de Maria de Leon, Concepcion Caridad de Leon, Aura Doris de Leon, Antonieta Teresa de Leon, Irene Celeste de Leon, Gregoria Jesus de Leon, Maria Beatriz de Leon and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A vigil was held January 19 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at a later date in San Pablo, San Marcos, Guatemala.
