Lynn Shytle Melton, 61

Lynn Shytle Melton, 61, of the Chase Community passed away Friday, January 27, 2023.

Born September 19, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Bobby and Joann Shytle.

She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. While in high school, she met the love of her life, Billy Melton, Jr. They were married in September of 1980 and tackled life together for over forty-two years. Lynn worked for 30 years in the health care system.

Those left to carry on her legacy are husband Billy Melton Jr., son Matthew Melton of Savannah, GA, sister Penny Shytle Brown of Forest City, mother-in-law Evelyn Melton of the Chase community, one nephew, one great nephew and niece.

Services were held January 31 at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Fox officiating.
