Mabel Padgett Davis, 97

Mabel Padgett Davis, 97, of Rutherfordton, passed away November 8, 2021.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late James Grady and Eula Ione Whitaker Padgett. Mabel was a retired textiles secretary and a member of First Baptist Church, Spindale. She was a musician at First Baptist Church for 50 years.

Left to cherish her memories are nieces, Cindy Ball of Titusville, FL, Susan Padgett of Titusville FL, and Vickie Coughlin of Jacksonville, FL; stepsons, Ken Davis of Lapeer, MI, Samuel Davis of Huntington Beach, CA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leslie Geer and Henry Davis; and brothers, Glen and Rex Padgett.

Funeral services were held November 14,2021 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Allen Hall officiating.
