Making History Matter series planning underway

Rutherford County Historians gathered recently at the Isothermal Community College Library to continue preparations for a new series of events called "Making History Matter: Connecting the Past to the Present."

The series will feature guest speakers, interactive Q&A sessions, exhibits, children's activities, and more that will highlight the rich history of Rutherford County.

The kickoff event, "Famous Faces, Local Places" is tentatively scheduled to be presented on October 20. More details will be released in the near future.
