Margaret Ann Hines, age 88

Margaret Ann Hines, age 88 of Forest City passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

She was born September 2, 1930 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Zonie and Florence Pintuff Estep. Margaret worked for most of her life in textiles and was a faithful member of Henrietta First Baptist Church where she served as Librarian for many years. Margaret had a kind and gentle spirit and she enjoyed helping others through her church activities or in the community. She loved her family and was a devoted friend to many.

Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Michael Estep, and brothers, James, Dan, and Perry Estep. Survivors include her husband, Merlin Hines of the home, a son, Philip Walker and wife Janet Diane Walker of Bostic, three step-children, Terry Hines and wife Kathy, Cindy Houser, and Kenny Hines and wife Sherri all of Cliffside, a sister, Betty Ray of Forest City, daughter-in-law, Judy Estep of Harris, as well as numerous grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at First Baptist Church of Henrietta. Entombment followed in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum.
