Marie Martin Cook age 73

Marie Martin Cook age 73 of Ellenboro passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Born December 15, 1947 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Howard Taft Martin and Mary Grace Towery Martin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Martin Jarrell and an infant brother, Joseph Martin.

Surviving are her husband, John Grayson Cook; a son, Jason Taft Hughes of Forest City; a daughter, Donna Michelle Hughes of Shelby; a grandson; a sister, Judy Martin Yelton and husband, Ernest of Forest City; three nephews and a special niece.

Graveside services were held at the Duncan's Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
