Marilyn Maloney Butler, age 68

Marilyn Maloney Butler, age 68 of Bostic died Sunday, June 18, 2023.

A native of Rutherford County, she was born December 27, 1954, and is a daughter of Jessie Hollifield Maloney of Forest City and the late Rev. Clyde J. Maloney.

Marilyn worked as a Title Clerk for Beam Chevrolet until her retirement. She was a member of Sunshine Church.

Her husband, Thomas Canie Butler preceded her in death in 2014.

In addition to her mother Jessie Maloney, she is survived by her son, Chad Hart McFarland and wife Heather of Bostic, step-son, Thomas R. "Tommy" Butler, II, and wife Shawna of Stafford, VA, step-daughter, Mandy Butler Vaughn and husband Shane of Easley, SC, brother, Johnny Maloney and wife Jo Ann of Bostic, and sister, Janet Gettys of Bostic, five grandchildren.

The funeral swas held June 22 at Sunshine Church with Rev. Keyes Pendleton and Rev. Steve Harmon officiating.
