Marjorie Daniel Huskey, age 93

Marjorie Daniel Huskey, age 93 of Forest City died Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Marjorie was born April 23, 1929, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Wilbur and Eva Morrow Daniel.

Marjorie was a lifelong member of Bethany Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of Hillcrest Rest Home for 38 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Damon H. Huskey, Sheriff of Rutherford County for many years, her son, Michael Ray Huskey.

Survivors include her daughter, Melony Joy Huskey Walker and husband Michael, sons, Jerald Scott Huskey and wife Lynn and Christopher Damon Huskey and wife Amy, eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held January 14 in Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Fox and Rev. Jerry Ruppe officiating.
