Marjorie Harris Lane, age 86

Marjorie Harris Lane, age 86, of Rutherfordton, passed away on February 26, 2018.

Marjorie was the daughter of the late Ella Lou Harris, and the wife of Earl Lane. Marjorie and her husband owned Golden Nugget Auto Sales. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Following her career at Tanner Corporation she enjoyed spending her retirement volunteering at Habitat for Humanity in Forest City.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Cathy Crawford (Greg Crawford), and one grandson.

A memorial service was held at Second Baptist Church, Rutherfordton. Dr. Keith Stephenson officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336 Forest City NC 28043.
