Marjorie Ward White, age 87, formerly of Union Mills died Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Marjorie was the daughter of the late Richard Ward & Essie Mae Walker Ward and a native of Rutherford County. She was retired from Rutherford County Department of Social Services. She attended Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her son Gerald Bennett, two sisters; Lillian Gibson and Louise Haulk.
She is survived by one son Jeff Bennett and wife Tina of Rutherfordton, one granddaughter Lauren Bennett Toms and husband Noah of Rutherfordton, one brother Lewis Ward and wife Joyce of Rutherfordton.
The Funeral service was held at Oak Ridge Baptist Church on March 18, 2025.
McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
