Martha Davis Hamrick, age 88

Martha Davis Hamrick, age 88 of Bostic, passed away February 23, 2022.

Martha was born October 21, 1933, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Lake and Pauline Sisk Davis.

Martha was a homemaker and had worked for the Rutherford County Schools as well as owning the former Town & Country Clothing store in Ellenboro. She was a graduate of Ellenboro High School and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Robert Hamrick and brother, Don Davis.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Hamrick of Forest City, son, Gary Hamrick and wife Sharon of Black Mountain, brother, Kenneth Davis and wife LaVerne of Belmont, granddaughters, Sarah Hamrick Mills and husband, William, their son, Baker of Fort Mill, SC, and Janie Davis Romick and husband Gannon of Greenville, SC.

The funeral service was held February 26, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Sepaugh officiating.
