Martha (Jean) Lail Kelly, 81 of Caroleen, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2023.
Martha (Jean) was born June 29, 1942 in Cleveland County.
She was a member of Goodes Grove Baptist Church before she became a supportive pastors' wife. Alongside her husband they served 24 years in the United Methodist Church.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Frank and Rosa Mae Lail; three brothers, Frankie Lail, William Lail, and Jerry Lail; one sister Lucille Moore; one daughter Myra Kelly.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Karl A. Kelly of Caroleen; two daughters, Karla Kelly Towler, of Ellenboro and Tina Kelly of Forest City; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two sisters, Rachel Whisnant and Reba Poteat.
The funeral service was held August 21 in the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Karl A. Kelly officiating.
