Martha was born on August 15, 1949 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Gurnie Ezra Robertson and Eugenia Towery Robertson. She was a East High School graduate, class of 1967 and worked as a seamstress for Bonworth Industries for many years. She also did secretarial work for several years. She loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar and was a past member of the Forest City Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ella Richards and Francis J. Holland; two brothers, Joe Ervin Robertson and Billy Ray Robertson and one granddaughter, Natalie Faith Mashburn.
Survivors include one son, Brad Stephen Jones of Bostic; three daughters, Sherrie Toney and husband, John of Bostic, Hope Earley and Brandy Jones both of Mooresboro; special friend, Vincent Curtis Watkins; two brothers, David Robertson and wife, Sue Ann of Green Creek and Raymond Robertson and wife, Pat of St. Paul, MN; one sister, Barbara Enloe and husband, Tony of Green Creek; one uncle, Edward Towery of Morganton, NC.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Victoria Chapman, Savannah Earley, Ericka Walters, Wesley McDaniel, and J.D. Toney.
Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Earl Godfrey officiating.
