Mary Geneva Owensby Elliott, age 72 passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024.
A native of Rutherford County Mary was a daughter of the late Lee Roy and Mary Lou Dobbins Owensby.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother William Owensby and one sister Ann Owensby.
She is survived by one son, William Bryan Elliott; three brothers, Thurmond, Robert and Wayne Owensby; one sister, Betty Byers; four grandchildren, and soon to arrive great grandson.
A celebration of Mary's life was held March 11 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel.
