Mary Hazel Campbell, age 77 of Forest City

Mary Hazel Campbell, age 77 of Forest City died Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Hazel was born July 24, 1947, in Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late Joseph Allan Dobbins and Annie Toms Dobbins.

She was a cafeteria worker for many years at Rutherfordton Elementary School as well as at Camp Bud Schiele for the Boy Scouts of America. She was also a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Charles Cash and Allen Cash.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Denise Buff of Ellenboro, her brother, Dean Dobbins of Spindale, her grandchildren, Tabitha Buff, Jeffrey Buff, Josh Cash, and Stephen Buff and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held June 13 in the Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Chad Sisk officiating.
