Mary Lee Callahan Curtis, age 91, died Sunday, April 10, 2022.
She was born in Forest City September 13, 1930. She and her husband Cromer were former residents of Forest Hills Drive in Forest City.
Mary Lee was a lifelong member of Florence Baptist Church.
She worked for the Town of Forest City. Her tenure lasted for more that forty years from 1950 until 1991.
Mary Lee is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Cromer Harold Curtis, parents William (Bill) Logan Callahan and Flora Marks Callahan, sister Patsy Callahan Botts, brother Henry Roger Callahan, nephew Eric Callahan and great-nephew, Derrick Callahan.
Three nieces and nephews survive her, eight great nieces and nephews, and one great, great nephew.
The funeral was held April 24, at Florence Baptist Church with Rev. Tonya Garrison and Rev. Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating.
