Mary Louise Roper, 80 of Rutherfordton passed away February 7, 2022.
Mary was the daughter of the late Otis and Dora Waddell.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband James Roper, sisters Polly Peace, Carrie Dotson and Evelyn McFalls, brother Otis Waddell Jr.
Mary is survived by her daughter Kathy Roper Painter (Roger), son Danny William Roper (Lisa), son Terry Roper (Tracy), nine grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters; Deborah Bohanon (Larry) of Florida, Brenda Gilbert of Campobello, SC and Ann Searcy and Milo from Lake Lure, and retired Master Sergeant Larry Waddell (Kathy) of Mill Spring.
A graveside service was held February 9, 2022 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Painter officiating.
